I use a mix of traditional and modern techniques and bold, graphic compositions to create soulful and striking work.

 

I’m fascinated by the tension between the realism of the primary subject in my paintings and the abstraction of the surroundings, between the control of finer work to the intuitive release of the broad strokes; the two sides of art; craft and passion.
